Book Review: The Thin Line Between Everything and Nothing – Hannah Storm

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5

There is a real rawness and undercurrent of violence to many of the stories in this collection – stories about love turned sour, divorce, not fitting in, domestic abuse – the not so pretty but very real aspects of life.

This collection had some themes that really spoke to me – lots of reflections on what it means to be a woman: giving birth, being a mother, the gender dynamics of being a woman in the military.

I also loved Storm’s interest in language and etymology. A focus on a particular word often forms the catalyst or basis of the stories: words meaning one thing, but also revealing another meaning, words in other languages, the power of language.

Many thanks to the Publisher for the opportunity to read and review a copy of this book.
